Do I have to pay anything to use HolidayPal?+
No. The basics are free forever — store every booking, boarding pass and ticket, the trip calendar, lists and countdown, the seat picker, and the budget tracker. Plus is optional and unlocks the smart extras.
Is sharing a trip free?+
Yes. Sharing a trip and inviting family or friends is always free — everyone who joins sees the same bookings and plans, live. Plus adds Group mode on top for organising a stag, hen or group trip: the airport meet-up pin-drop, the crew list and organiser-only surprises.
What does HolidayPal Plus unlock?+
The AI trip assistant, scanning a booking photo or PDF to auto-fill it, Nearby places, live flight tracking, menu and sign translation, Group mode for group trips, the Cruise, Race Day and Festival modes, and as many live trips of your own as you like (the free plan keeps one on the go at a time).
What's the difference between Monthly and Annual?+
Same full unlock — every trip, Group mode, all the smart features. Plus Monthly is £3.99 a month, cancel any time. Plus Annual is £24.99 a year (about £2.08 a month — roughly 6 months free versus paying monthly), and Plus Family covers a household of up to 6 people. Both subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
Is there a free trial?+
Two, and they stack rather than clash. Every new account gets 3 days of Plus automatically — no card needed, and it simply ends by itself. Separately, Plus Annual on our website starts with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers: cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. In the iPhone and Android apps, any trial on offer is shown by the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.
Will the price go up later?+
The price you subscribe at is the price you keep paying while you stay subscribed. If we ever change a plan's price, it only applies from a later renewal, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
One-off pass or a subscription?+
Going on one trip? The £6.99 Trip Pass unlocks Plus for that trip and is yours forever — pay once, no subscription. Using it through the year — day trips, races, festivals and holidays — Plus Monthly or Annual unlocks everything on every trip and works out far cheaper. One-off passes are sold on our website only.
