Learn moreWhat goes in a travel document wallet?
A travel document wallet is one home for everything you book and need on a trip. In HolidayPal that means flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire, airport lounges, event tickets and travel insurance — each as its own card with the provider, booking reference, date and time. You can pin the truly important things, like your passport details and insurance policy, to an Essentialssection at the top of the wallet so they're the first thing you see.
Everything is grouped by trip, so your Mallorca booking confirmations don't get mixed up with next year's ski week. When you land, you open one trip and the whole holiday is laid out in order — not spread across your inbox, your camera roll and three airline apps.
Stop searching your inbox at the airport
The real problem a document organiser solves is the panic moment: you're at bag drop and you need the booking reference, or at the hotel desk and you need the confirmation number. Hunting for it in a six-month-old email, on hotel Wi-Fi, with a queue behind you, is exactly when things go wrong. With every booking saved in one place — and available offline — the answer is two taps away. It's the difference between a smooth arrival and a stressful one.
Let AI do the typing
Nobody wants to type out flight numbers and check-in times by hand. Scan a confirmation PDF or a screenshot, or forward the email, and HolidayPal's AI reads it and fills in the details for you — pulling out the flights, hotel, seats and reference, and splitting a return journey into separate outbound and return cards. You can always edit anything or add a booking manually. The original document attaches to the card, so the source is always one tap away when you need it. See how it works for the full flow.
Private, secure, and yours to delete
You're trusting a travel wallet with sensitive things — passport details, booking references, names. HolidayPal is UK-based, never sells your data, and keeps your bookings and documents private to your trip. You can delete a single document, or a whole trip, whenever you like. And because the essentials work offline, your documents aren't held hostage by a flat signal abroad. Share a trip and the same documents appear on everyone travelling's phone, live.
Travel document wallet — common questions
What is a travel document wallet?
It's one place on your phone to keep everything for a trip — flights, hotels, transfers, car hire, insurance, tickets and booking references — instead of digging through emails, screenshots and PDFs. HolidayPal's wallet groups it all by trip, so when you land you tap once instead of searching your inbox.
Can I store PDFs and screenshots of my bookings?
Yes. Attach the confirmation PDF or a screenshot to any booking, or forward the email and let AI read it. Boarding passes are kept near full resolution so the barcode still scans at the gate.
Does it pull the details out of my confirmation automatically?
Scan a confirmation or forward the email and AI extracts the flight numbers, dates, times, seats, hotel and booking reference into tidy cards — outbound and return as separate entries. You can always edit or add anything by hand.
Are my travel documents private?
Your bookings and documents stay private to your trip. We never sell your data, and you can delete a document or a whole trip at any time. UK-based.
Can I get to my documents with no signal?
Yes — your essentials stay available offline, so a flat hotel Wi-Fi or no roaming abroad doesn't lock you out of your boarding pass or booking reference.
Is it really free?
The travel wallet is free — storing your flights, hotels, transfers, tickets and documents, grouped by trip, costs nothing. Some smart extras like AI booking scanning and the AI travel assistant sit behind an optional upgrade, but keeping your documents organised does not.
What's the difference between this and a folder of screenshots?
Screenshots are fine until you need the one you can't find. A travel document wallet structures everything — booking type, reference, dates, who's travelling — so it's searchable, sorted by trip, shareable with your group, and there offline. It also reads new confirmations for you instead of you re-typing them.
